The United States has decided to levy antidumping duties on imports of South Korean carbon and alloy steel wire rod.<br /> The U.S. International Trade Commission said Tuesday that imports from five countries including South Korea, Turkey and Spain, are hurting domestic producers.<br />With such measures, carbon and alloy steel wire rod manufactured by POSCO and other Korean steelmakers will be subject to a duty of 41-point-one percent. <br />U.S. imports of wire rod from South Korea amounted to twelve-point-two million dollars in 2016. <br />
